The Pitreavie Group has continued to build on its position as Scotland’s largest packaging supplier with the appointment of Michelle Ottolini as General Manager of Sorba-Freeze Chilled Packaging Solutions.
Sorba-Freeze was recently acquired by the Pitreavie Packaging Group as part of the take-over of Anderson Packaging and the appointment is seen as a clear demonstration of the company’s commitment to growth.
Michelle joins Sorba-Freeze from Europe’s leading distributor of paper and packaging solutions and brings a wealth of experience in business development both at domestic and international level.
In her new role, Michelle will be responsible for the global development of the Sorba-Freeze brand and has already overseen the rebranding and commissioning of a new website.
Michelle explained, “Sorba-Freeze is a unique product which has achieved its current success through word of mouth over its 25 year history and its unbeatable performance. Its growth potential is truly unlimited and with a growing market of small to medium producers of meat, fish and dairy products who are now seeing online success, together with incredible demand from our international client base.”
She continued, “We are looking at a range of improvements from the product itself through to a proactive sales and marketing strategy to the ongoing aftersales process, which we believe will take us to the next level.”
Managing Director, Joe Diamond, commented “Michelle brings the perfect combination of sales and service together with the experience of working with a world class company which reflects our vision for the company.”
